I still have this nightmare every once in a while. Usually its a dream that goes wrong, hardly every does it start off with spiders everywhere already. Sometimes its a wave of spiders trying to engulf me, or a carpet of them that wont let me pass, then they notice me and start to swarm me. But they always come from a door, and it starts off with a big black blob that starts to take the shape of a giant spider then breaks up into thousands of little spiders that crawl EVERYWHERE. That's when i start panicking and i wake up, sometimes trashing.
Its an irrational fear, i know, but i cant help it. Strangely Tarantulas don't gross me out, just small spiders with grotesque abdomens. Although i prefer all arachnids behind glass.
